Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Essentia Homes LLC (“Essentia”, “we”) collects through essentiahomes.website and how we use it. Essentia is in early development, so we collect very little.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your name, email and any optional answers you choose to give, such as what you’re looking for and where.
• Survey: your answers. Your email is optional, and if you leave it blank your answers aren’t linked to your identity.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP addresses and browser type to run and secure the site.

Accounts and messages

If you create an account to use Messages, we store your email address, the profile details you choose to share and the messages you send. This information is stored with Google Firebase on our behalf. Your messages are visible to the people in that conversation. If a conversation is reported, we may review it to keep the community safe. Profiles you mark as visible can be seen by other signed-in members.

You can edit your profile, hide it or delete your account at any time from Messages. Deleting your account removes your profile and login. Messages you already sent remain visible to the people you sent them to.

What stays in your browser

Homes you save and the living style you set in the demo are stored only in your own browser. They aren’t sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

How we use it

• To contact you about Essentia, including launch and early-access news.
• To understand renters’ needs and decide what to build.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Form submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, on our behalf. We may use other service providers, such as an email service, to contact you. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep survey answers for as long as they’re useful for product research.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to access, correct or delete your information, by emailing hello@essentiahomes.website.

Children

Essentia isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change, especially before launching accounts or listings.
